Accessible Packaging: Sandwich Packaging

  1. i like your design since it is easy and innovative. your design is pretty different with the existing sandwich packaging that i've seen... and it shows clearly about how to use it step-by-step. maybe one thing can think about that how to package the different flavours of sandwiches.

  2. Your design does improve the way of eating neatly, not just for someone with arthritis, but also people in general. This enables accessibility for everyone in the community. I am just concerned about the amount of material used for your packaging. Maybe consider the fast food packaging and how little material they use. Overall a very good design!

  3. This is a great and very effective solution to a problem that is not often considered. Existing sandwich packages are extremely hard to use. The graphics are simple yet indicative, research is thorough, and testing is evident. I question however, the white text on yellow background from a legibility perspective (I found it hard to read initially, but I have bead eyes). Great job

  4. your design is really well done!. the innovative design will definately make it simplier and hassle-free for arthritis sufferers by making it easier to access the sandwhich. maybe you could improve the design by making the package or part of the package clear so you could see inside.

  5. I for one struggle to open the plastic sandwich packaging! Through research you have created a ideal solution to this problem. Your use of simplistic graphics has a high aesthetic appeal which will really catch the consumers attention. I think a clear strip to show the packagings contents would add to this great design. Great job

    1. matt, i really think this is a suitable solution for arthritis users and people in general. i like this idea because even if your hands are a bit dirty you dont have to worry about getting it on your sandwich. i would only suggest to make the packaging more appealing to the general public, i see you have aimed it at hospitals but im sure that convenience stores and the like would wrap their samdwiches in this way.

  6. the design is thoughtful to solve the problem faced using using the existed sandwich package, its innovative and easier to access. Details and necessary information are clearly shown on the package, no confusion. However, if it can has some way to see the food inside might be better. For this kind of fresh food, people are tend to see them when they are buying.
